Prescott Valley Public Library is hosting African Music & Arts with Baba Shibambo on Friday, June 6th, 2025, from 10:00-11:15 a.m. Join Baba Shibambo for an exciting, high-energy performance that takes you on a rhythmic journey into the heart of ancient Africa through music, dance, and storytelling! Experience the magic of traditional African instruments, learn fun dance moves, and hear an authentic Zulu folktale brought to life through music. This interactive program is perfect for all ages and offers a vibrant celebration of culture, rhythm, and joyful expression. Come ready to move, listen, and have a blast! Baba Shibambo brings a fun interactive performance exploring the age-old music and traditions of his Zulu homeland. For over 20 years, Shibambo, a South African master drummer and multi-instrumentalist, has traveled the world introducing ancient African rhythms to captivated audiences.
